Awarded to outstanding top leaders from cross-sectors who have demonstrated not only top-notch capabilities and achievements but also social caring attributes that serve as role models for emerging managerial young individuals, including the tenacity and perseverance to continue influencing and providing a vision of sustainability and direction of best practices to stakeholders.

Criteria

  • Epitomize the core values of a successful leader and utilize influence to promote social caring for a sustainable world
  • Have contributed and shaped the Asian economy, and are visionaries behind today's outstanding businesses with their best practices
  • Nurture young generation through knowledge-sharing

Asian Social Caring Female Leadership Award

Awarded to community-spirited female leaders in private and public sectors to appraise their talents and to recognize the high level achievements at workplace as well as philanthropic and social contributions.

Criteria

  • Utilize influence to promote social caring for a sustainable world
  • Support the women empowerment strategy to accelerate the role of working women in various institutions through various initiatives
  • Encouraging, inspiring, and urging the young women generation to assume leadership positions to support Asian economy

THEMATIC LEADERSHIP AWARDS

Outstanding Social Caring Young Leadership Award

Awarded to young leaders who possess team-leading skills and vision to fulfill both business goals and corporate social responsibilities.

Criteria

  • Nominees have to be in the age under 45
  • Passionate about improvising the society with his or her team
  • Young and vibrant, capable of observing the fast-changing needs of the society and its people according to social circumstances
  • Ambitious in business expansion, ready to outreach to other sectors in the community

Outstanding Digital Innovator Award

Criteria

  • Improve organisational efficiency leveraging innovative technology, either developed or adopted by the team and organisation
  • Be passionate about technological innovation, promote people-oriented technology

Outstanding ESG Leader Award

Criteria

  • Carry out the concept of sustainable development within the team and organisation
  • Successfully implemented at least one project of sustainable development

ORGANIZATION

Outstanding Social Caring Organization Award

Awarded to organizations that have been proactively creating shared values among stakeholders, building a strong organizational culture by practicing social responsibility and environmental sustainability, as well as inspiring young talents in responsible business areas.

Criteria

  • Has a positive influence on society in the process of promoting sustainability, and its achievements have been recognized by professionals or the public
  • Being a responsible employer for training and caring employees as well as promoting work inclusion and diversity
  • Demonstrated strong commitment in providing quality and safe products/services with robust corporate governance, reporting and monitoring

THEMATIC ORGANIZATION AWARDS

Outstanding Social Caring SME Award​

This award is specially set up for endorsing smaller-sized companies with less than 10 employees, yet striving to fulfill their social commitment.

Criteria

  • Utilize organization’s own strengths, strive to contribute to its sector’s development and professional standards
  • Being a responsible employer for training and caring employees' as well as promoting work inclusion and diversity

GBA Outstanding Social Innovation Award

Presented to organizations demonstrating outstanding innovations in the categories of Product, Service, Solution, as well as Organization and Culture, with the aim of inspiring continued investment in innovation within organizations.

Criteria

  • Nominees could be a registered start-up organization in public, non-profit or private commercial sector
  • Utilize organization’s own strengths, bringing in positive changes to the world through innovation in brand, product, services or social investment
  • With strong initiative to address issues in community and environment while raising awareness

Outstanding Social Caring Brand Award

Awarded to brands that aim at promoting values such as equality and social harmony, while showing concern towards the society as a whole.

Criteria

  • Products or services provided by nominees should show continual concern towards social issues or phenomena
  • Has been working in hand with social sectors to create a more inclusive society
  • Provides a barrier-free working environment and culture for employees with special needs

ESG Management Excellence Award

Presented to organizations that make profitable investments, demonstrating their commitment to sustainable development while meeting the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.

Criteria

  • Ensures transparency and disclosures in its investments; the public should be able to review the investments that it makes
  • Proactively invests in building a more sustainable and discrimination-free community within the reach of the organization

GBA Social Caring Award for Green Excellence

Awarded to organizations that have integrated environmental performance into its sustainable development strategy and has delivered proven business benefits.

Criteria

  • Encourages and promotes sustainability initiatives in the society
  • Has successfully implemented a major project or programme in areas such as Extended Product Responsibility, Green Product Design and Sustainable Business Practices
  • Conducts environmentally friendly practices in workplace, including but not limited to Water Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Waste Reduction

  • For Hong Kong/ Mainland China nominees: Download the Nomination Form and email back to our representatives 
  • A non-refundable assessment fee of HKD640 / USD80 will be charged for every nomination submission. Assessment Application Form

Qualification Review
  • Your submitted document will be verified internally by the Executive Office.

Assessment

  • Your nomination will be scored according to your supporting documents, SERA Judging Criteria, and how well you have implemented the Six Principles of the Social Caring Pledge.

Audit Interview (Optional)
  • We may arrange a short audit interview if we would like to hear further elaboration from you or the organization you represent.
  • An virtual meeting may be arranged for non-Hong Kong based nominees.

Fees

Judging Panel

All nominations will be submitted to the judging panel for review and assessment. The judging panel comprises local professionals and representatives from the SERA Committee. The judges are regulated by strict internal policy to avoid any conflicts of interest, and to uphold the independence, transparency and credibility of the selection process.

The selection process is confidential, and all information collected is used solely for judging purposes. Only limited information about award winners will be disclosed after successfully completing the assessment process.
